Trisha Yearwood Is Selling Her Tennessee Mansion—Yep, the Swoon-Worthy One From Her Cooking Show

Grammy-winning superstar Trisha Yearwood has just listed her Brentwood, TN, estate for $4.5 million.

You might even recognize the place from Yearwood’s Emmy-winning Food Network series, “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen.” The 6,553-square-foot home has five bedrooms and seven full bathrooms and is more than 100 years old.

The singer, actress, author, chef, TV personality, and entrepreneur filmed 11 of 17 seasons of the show in the house.

The elegantly appointed space has welcomed some of the biggest names in country music. Reba McEntire, Kelsea Ballerini, Ashley McBryde, and Lauren Alaina have all been to the home, as have athletes from the Nashville Predators and Harlem Globetrotters.

But potential buyers might find the home’s more down-to-earth qualities even more enticing.

“Some of the most important features are that it sits on almost 4.5 acres that are gated and private,” says listing agent Lorie Lytle, of Fridrich & Clark Realty. “To have a historic home on that size property is unique as well. It’s located next to the interstate and close to Nashville and very convenient to the airport. To have a property of that size, with that sort of privacy and two gated entries, makes it even more special.”

The home was built in 1920 and has many period details, including three fireplaces, striking hardwood floors, and built-in cabinets.

Luxury amenities include an elevator and a nine-camera surveillance system.

“There are lots of beautiful moldings and trim work, as well as multiple rooms for gatherings,” Lytle says.

An enormous primary suite is situated on the main level and boasts two separate bathrooms and a private terrace.

“The home has multiple porches on the front and side and off the living area and family room,” Lytle notes.

Perhaps not surprisingly, the home that once hosted a cooking show has quite the kitchen—one that was completely renovated in 2015 and now features top-of-the-line appliances.

“There are Wolf double ovens, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and a gourmet microwave in the expanded kitchen,” Lytle says, adding that the deluxe cook space also has a six-burner cooktop and a warming drawer.

Designed for entertaining, the property features a swimming pool and pool house with a kitchenette. There is also a light-flooded sunroom, where a new owner can savor the beautiful country views.

“Another advantage is the opportunity to expand,” Lytle points out. “You could build a recording studio or another structure on the property, including a guesthouse, if you wanted to.”

Lytle believes the next owner will be someone who loves the home’s history, coupled with its big-city convenience.

“I believe it will be used a primary residence and think it will be a place that someone wants to call home,” Lytle predicts. “I hope the next buyer appreciates the house as much as Trisha has.”
