The Rockledge Borough Police Department recently issued a Crime Alert regarding graffiti discovered at Extreme Karate, 220 Huntingdon Pike, and at the Rockledge Plaza, 400 Huntingdon Pike, on Tuesday, August 8.

According to the alert, the offender(s) tagged multiple locations throughout Fox Chase.

From the Department’s Facebook post:

It appears that the offender(s) did this overnight from Mon., Aug. 7th into Tue., Aug. 8th. The Fox Chase Town Watch Assoc. shared pictures of what they found in their neighborhood. However, there’s no further information about the offender(s) at this time.

Even though graffiti (as it comes under Criminal Mischief/Vandalism in the PA Crimes Code) isn’t a serious crime and is often committed by juveniles, it’s still a criminal offense that can have a negative impact on the quality of life in our community. In other words, we don’t want this in the Borough. It’s unsightly and gives the impression that our neighborhood is being neglected when it’s not because we care about Rockledge.

If anybody has any information about this offender(s), then contact police at 215-379-8801. Please report suspicious activity to the police right away by dialing 911 immediately.
