A commercial real estate brokerage firm with offices in Louisiana and Ohio will open an office in Lafayette.

Elifin opened the office at 600 Jefferson St. in the Chase tower and will be led by Brandon Abdella, a Broussard native with three years experience in the industry who specializes in industrial sales and leasing.

It’s the firm’s fourth office, and it plans to bring its unique approach to commercial brokerage with ultra-specialized and focused agents, proprietary data and systems and best-in-class marketing, company officials said.

“The demand for us to do business in Acadiana from our existing clients and prospective clients has increased exponentially indicating that it was clearly time for us to establish a permanent presence in the market,” company president and CE& Mathew Laborde said. “I was born and raised in Lafayette, so, taking ELIFIN® to my hometown was always on my mind. It’s just been a matter of the right timing and the right team.”

Elifin offers a weekly email, The Pulse LFT, that includes commercial property sales in the market.
