On Aug. 7, Kings District RCMP were called to the school where officers discovered the building and playground equipment had been spray-painted.

Their investigation led to the identification of two Kings County young people, RCMP said in a news release that did not specify the ages or gender of the suspects.

The accused have been charged with mischief under $5,000 and are scheduled to appear in Kentville provincial court Oct. 19.
