New 1,100-plus luxury home community planned for north Fort Worth

A new luxury single-family home community is in the works in northwestern Fort Worth.

Centurion American Development Group announced plans for The Estates at Eagle Mountain, a 836-acre development of roughly 1,110 homes. Home sites will range from half-acre to one-acre.

The community will run along the eastern shore of Eagle Mountain Lake and is bound by Morris Dido Newark Peden, and Bonds Ranch roads.

David Davidson Jr. and Edward Bogel of Davidson Bogel Real Estate brokered the transaction, and they will continue to market the 36 acres of commercial land adjacent to the development.

Information on price ranges was not available because homebuilders have not been finalized, a Centurion representative told The Dallas Morning News.

“Eagle Mountain Lake offers some of the most beautiful views in North Texas,” Mehrdad Moayedi, CEO of Centurion American Development Group, said in a statement. “We’ve spent nearly two decades creating the finest master-planned community on the lake, and we know that North Fort Worth and the future residents of The Estates at Eagle Mountain will truly enjoy what this development will add to this region.”

The announcement comes after Tarrant County Commissioners Court approved the creation of public improvement districts for the development earlier this month. Three of four commissioners approved the special tax designations. Commissioner Alisa Simmons was the sole no-vote.

It would not be Centurion American Development Group’s first project in the area. They were behind the Resort on Eagle Mountain Lake, a 540-acre master-planned neighborhood that is in its final phase.
