New Jersey homes were some of the fastest selling in the U.S. in March, data from Realtor.com showed.
The median time between when a home was listed and either closed or taken off Realtor.com was 42 days for New Jersey, the data showed.
Only homes in Massachusetts and District of Columbia were selling faster at 36 and 39 days, respectively. New Jersey was tied for the third hottest real estate market with Connecticut, Rhode Island and Ohio also with 42 days.
