Sunday was filled with plenty of fun activities, including the Mvskoke Art Market hosted by the Muscogee Nation at the River Spirit Casino.

The market featured more than 80 artists representing over 20 Native American tribes selling their art from April 22-23. The various works of art ranged from paintings, sculptures, pottery, carvings, textiles, and more.

This is the second annual Mvskoke Art Market included activities like presentations on Indigenous creativity and Mvskoke culture, traditional demonstrations, and an all-Native comedy show.

“Our goal was to expand and offer additional programming and cultural presentations to increase attendees’ overall experience. I believe this year’s lineup will be a great success,” said Muscogee Nation Cultural Center and Archives Program Manager ShaVon Agee.

If you missed out, you can visit the Mvskoke Art Market’s Facebook page or the market’s website to view the featured artists.
