Collect a set of free graphic novels and enjoy comic-themed activities at three locations in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, May 4 in honor of Free Comic Book Day.
You’ll find The Flash comic at GreenTree Co-Op Market, 410 W. Broadway, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Fly over to Art Reach of Mid Michigan, 111 E. Broadway, for a free Superman comic, also from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Batman comics are available at Veterans Memorial Library, 301 S. University, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Free comic books also will be available at library branches in Shepherd and Blanchard.
In addition, patrons who check out a book from the Graphic Novel section in any Chippewa River District library on May 4 will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Sleepy Dog Books gift card. For more information, visit crdl.org.
