Man, 55, charged after antisemitic graffiti scrawled on downtown Toronto business window

A man has been charged following a suspected hate-motivated mischief investigation in downtown Toronto.

Police were called to the Yonge and Front streets area for a mischief call at 5:37 a.m. Sunday.

Toronto police allege a man wrote antisemitic graffiti on the window of a business.

A 55-year-old Toronto man has been charged with mischief under $5,000 and breaching probation. 

“The investigation is being treated as a suspected hate-motivated offence,” police said in a news release Monday night.
