CONWAY — The MWV Arts Association’s Main Street Art Gallery in North Conway Village will be highlighting the artwork of Mary Borowski of Nashua on Friday, Sept, 22, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a reception. The public is cordially invited to attend.

The theme of Borowski’s display at the gallery is “Nature-Up Close” where she will be showing off her love of nature — plants, birds and landscapes — in her watercolor and oil paintings, photographs and nature journals. Included in her display at the gallery will be many of her nature journals, where she combines beautifully rendered watercolors with writings: poetry, music lyrics and scientific information. Borowski describes journaling as a fun activity for kids and adults alike and a great way to connect with the outdoors, to study and observe nature.
