Looks like this country boy can survive—without his Springville, TN, mansion!
Singer-songwriter Hank Williams, Jr. has already found a buyer for his gated, 33.7-acre plantation property. The 11,566-square-foot estate hit the market just a few days ago for $2.8 million and already has a contingent offer.
The five-bedroom residence was custom built for the country music legend in 2000. Offered for the first time since then, according to the listing, the property features “hardwood cherry finished maple floors, cherry cabinets, oak doors, and 200-year-old reclaimed Douglas Fir.”
Custom property with all the perks
A two-story lobby boasts a curved staircase.
Meanwhile, the cozy living room nearby features a wood-burning fireplace. And an oversized, eat-in kitchen has a large island and high-end appliances. Plus, it’s surrounded by windows.
Cathedral ceilings with exposed beams, a large bathroom with a soaking tub, and a sitting room with access to a private terrace comprise the spacious primary suite.
The enormous hunting property boasts “wildlife galore” and a 2-acre “duck impoundment,” the listing notes.
In fact, the Grammy winner showcases antlers and other taxidermy mounts throughout the interior.
The estate also features a media room, screened porch, gun vault, workshop, and a pair of two-car garages.
If hunting’s not your thing, there are other activities here to enjoy. You can work out in the separate 6,000-square-foot exercise facility. Or take a dip in the saltwater pool that comes with an automatic cover and a pool house with a full bath.
The performer is part of a musical family tradition. He’s the son of country musician Hank Williams and the father of musicians Holly Williams and Hank Williams III. In the 1980s, Williams Jr. became a star with hits like “Ain’t Misbehavin’” and “Born to Boogie.” He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2020.
