Developer Lists $24 Million Florida Beach Home in Celebrity-Favored Enclave
A contemporary house in Golden Beach has come onto the market for $23.775 million.
The house was built in 2013 for Florida-based real estate developer and investor Jonas Mimoun and his wife, Judith, who purchased the underlying 0.41-acre property in 2011 for $2.5 million, property records show.
The home has approximately 8,000 square feet of living space with seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room with seating for up to 14 guests, according to the listing with Lydia Eskenazi and Jonathan Bigelman with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty.
The residence also includes a gym and an office. It features a grand entrance with double-height ceilings, a staircase and expansive floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in natural light and views of the ocean and the city skyline, according to the listing posted late last month.
“This one-of-a-kind Golden Beach estate is a breathtaking oasis that blends contemporary design with opulence, unmatched vistas and amenities,” Ms. Eskenazi said.
“It’s the ultimate retreat for avid boaters,” she added, which comes with 190 feet of prime water frontage and a fully equipped 50-foot dock, providing easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean.
Outdoors, there is a pool with a hot tub, a summer kitchen and a covered terrace, the listing said.
The agents declined to comment on the sellers. Mr. Mimoun, who previously served as president of the famous Hotel Breakwater in South Beach, could not be immediately reached for comment.
Golden Beach is known as a very upscale community, whose celebrity residents include billionaire Bill Gates and musician Eric Clapton. Earlier this month, a 1.5-acre estate with 250 feet of water frontage in the neighborhood was relisted for $100 million.
