The buzz is spreading rapidly as CBS Studios, an American Television company under the CBS Entertainment Group of Paramount, has achieved the acquisition of the name “Star Trek Continuum” for Non-fungible Tokens (NFTs) and crypto collectibles.

With the green light from the USPTO, CBS Studios can now leverage the prestigious Star Trek name for the NFTs and crypto collectibles associated with their continuum series.

Despite filing for the Trademark a few years ago in July 2021, the application was finally approved by the USPTO on the 8th of August this year.

The trademark application was initially submitted by CBS in April, and the character mark for the Star Trek franchise was formally registered on August 8th.

With this development, CBS Studios gains the capability to establish an online marketplace, facilitating the exchange of digital crypto collectibles. This includes authenticated NFTs for art images and video clips.

Additionally, users can engage in buying and selling downloadable digital art and videos using blockchain technology on their online platforms.

CBS Studio provides users with the opportunity to personalize these NFTs according to their individual preferences, enhancing engagement and customization.
