Paintings created by Cassie Holsopple are now on display at the East Palestine Library. Holsopple is an artist and graphic designer living with their husband, baby, three cats and dog. Holsopple graduated summa cum laude from Youngstown State University with a major in Graphic Design and a minor in Music. They have been an artist for 15 years, started an Etsy shop in 2019 called Blue Poplar Studio, and in the past year have started leading art classes for the community. Holsopple enjoys experimenting with all types of media but loves painting and digital art the most. Birds, dragons, and landscapes are Holsopple’s favorite subject matter, and they hope to explore this passion more to become a full-time artist in the future. (Submitted photo)
