Artists, curators and collectives are invited to submit proposals for The City of Red Deer’s Viewpoint Gallery for the 2024/25 exhibition program.

Artists and curators working in any visual art media, including but not limited to: sculpture, painting, printmaking, lettering arts, ceramics, fibre arts, glass, fine craft, jewellery, digital art, mixed media, photography, film, video and performance art. Applicants must be Canadian residents.

About the gallery:

Viewpoint Gallery is an informal exhibition space in the lobby of The City of Red Deer’s Intermediate School building, which houses many of The City’s arts and culture programs along with administrative offices. The goal of the gallery is to showcase a variety of visual art forms, offer exhibition opportunities to artists and curators, and offer visitors opportunities to engage with artists and their work. An honorarium is provided to exhibitors based on CARFAC rates recommended for the type of display space (i.e. Exhibitions in Other Public Spaces).
