Graffiti “artists” covered a building at the center of downtown Miami during Art Week, according to photos posted to social media.
The 19-story, 65-year-old building is being demolished to make way for the new One Bayfront Plaza supertall.
A total demolition permit for the building was submitted on November 15, according to Miami Building Department records.
Interior demolition got underway earlier this year. The interior demolition permit was issued in May.
The new supertall tower will be a 1,049-foot “global landmark,” with Class AAA office space, a luxury convention hotel, and high-end residences.
