The High Country real estate market in April was still busy, with 117 closed sales last month, with a combined closing amount of $68 million.
The median sales price for the month was $499,000 and the median days on the market were just 45 days.
During the month of April, for single family, condo / townhouse properties in Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, and Watauga Counties showed 483 active listings, 234 of those were new listings.
April had 147 new land listings come onto the market and there were seventy land sales close during the month, totaling $8.3 million.
In addition, seven commercial sales closed in April, totaling $4.1 million dollars.
