Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic as a secluded spot for art collection, The Private Gallery has evolved from a modest space into a major cultural landmark. The gallery, which spans 3,700 square feet in a beautifully converted warehouse, will open its doors on May 11, showcasing an exclusive collection of global contemporary artists. These talented individuals, who began their careers using the streets as their canvas, bring a diverse array of mediums and styles to the gallery.
The inaugural exhibition, titled “Graffiti Abstraction,” features a wide range of inspirations, from Gustavo Oviedo’s homage to Biscayne Bay to Saber’s vivid depictions born out of his experiences with grand mal seizures. Curators Allison Freidin and Alan Ket have handpicked an impressive roster of artists, including MadC, Marti Sawe, Kaves, and Niels Shoe Meulman, among others.

The grand opening event is an invitation-only affair that will provide VIP guests the first look at the new collection, complemented by an exclusive tasting of Paso D’ Oro wines. A portion of the art sales proceeds will benefit The Erika Ender Heartlight Foundation, supporting children’s rights and education in the U.S.
