Tiger Woods and Justin Timberlake have teamed up to build a 600-acre luxury residential club community in Wellington, Florida.
What will be known as The Wellington, the golf icon and the legendary artist have joined up with billionaire Joe Lewis and equestrian entrepreneur Mark Bellissimo to partner in Wellington Lifestyle Partners to build the town.
Also, in partnership with The NEXUS Luxury Collection — an international real estate development and asset management company — the Wellington will feature both single-family custom homes and condo residences. (Lots start $3 million and homes start at $4 to $5 million.)
It appears anyone who buys into the town will have no reason ever to leave the community; residents will have access to all the amenities one can think of.
The proposed club community will include the acquired Cypress Golf Course — a Pete Dye-designed 18-hole championship course that will go through an extensive renovation process, a press release says.
A new clubhouse will also be added onto the course with a short game facility and a performance center with training and analytics.
The town will also have a world-class racquet center with a pro shop, a stadium tennis court, 12 additional tennis courts, 10 padel courts and 12 pickleball courts.

In terms of water amenities, the town will have four swimming pools — including a 25-meter, six-lane lap pool — a family pool, a kids’ splash area, and an adult-only resort-style pool with cabanas.
And if that’s not enough, an additional 120,000-square-foot, two-story field house will include a full basketball court, two tennis courts, two padel courts, four pickleball courts, four squash courts, five sports simulators, a purveyors market — and a smoothie bar to refuel.
At the field house is also a 40,000-square-foot fitness center with cardio training rooms, circuit and free weight training, stretching, stretching areas, studio classrooms, saunas, a cold water plunge, saltwater float pods, hydrotherapy pools — and a full spa offering massages, recovery and various wellness treatments.

For the kiddies are indoor and outdoor facilities including sports, gaming rooms, a rock-climbing wall, regulation bowling lanes, arts and crafts, and two outdoor sports fields, the release adds.
There will also be a 16-acre Central Park and lake with exercise and relaxation trails, yoga gardens and outdoor center.
Topping it all off, there’s even a 17-acre commercial center with shops, offices, a park, retail and restaurants.
“Palm Beach has long been a favorite location, but with the recent influx and growth of accomplished families to Palm Beach County, we are excited to bring a world-class club community to Wellington and provide new residential options, services and amenities where existing families and new families can thrive,” Douglas McMahon, Senior Managing Director at NEXUS and Tavistock Group, Managing Partner of Wellington Lifestyle Partners, told The Post.

“NEXUS is leading the planning, design, construction and ultimately the operations of the 600-acre community, The Wellington,” McMahon added. “This is a legacy project for the Bellissimo family and we share their vision to be great stewards for the Village of Wellington, the horse sport industry, and the community at large.”
Wellington has long been known for its equestrian roots.
The NEXUS company already has similar projects around the world including including the luxury resort community of Albany in the Bahamas.
