The City Of Wall Lake Encouraging Construction Of Residential And Commercial Buildings In Upcoming Projects

The City of Wall Lake recently held a public hearing to enter into a General Obligation Loan Agreement, borrowing just under $1,000,000 to fund several projects. City Clerk Chris Rodman says the money will be used to purchase a new tractor to replace the 14-year-old current machine used for maintenance work, especially during the winter pushing snow. The funding will also go for a new housing opportunity for those looking to build a house within the city.

Rodman says the second piece of the loan agreement is to create a lot that will allow for a new business opportunity, which will encourage people to live and work in Wall Lake.

Rodman reassures the residents that Wall Lake is committed to enhancing residential and commercial investments, a key strategy to strengthen the town’s economy.
