Police charge Brantford man with 52 counts of mischief in graffiti incidents

A 38-year-old Brantford man faces 52 charges of mischief under $5,000 after multiple locations in the city’s downtown core were spray painted.

Brantford police say 52 different addresses were damaged by spray paint with some buildings tagged in multiple spots resulting in more than 90 tags.

The suspect was identified through an investigation by the police service’s special constables. He was arrested just before 8 p.m. on April 25 at a Colborne Street East location.

Police said the accused was held for bail.
