Market Bleu’s Quarterly Night Market Returns This Weekend at the Contemporary Arts Center

First established in 1939, the Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati is a progressive art organization with accessibility, equity and diversity as its core values. The CAC serves as a space that encourages the community to collaborate, reflect, create and connect through a more sustainable and hopeful version of the future.

The Market Bleu night market is a quarterly event catered to artists and makers to showcase and sell their art, focusing on elevated handmade products and fine arts from the Greater Cincinnati area and beyond.

This quarter’s showcase features live art demonstrations from a printmaker, who will showcase her process of carving a block and printing; an abstract painter, who will create a live painting; and a textile artist, who will transfer botanical dyes from flowers to material, and a leather worker making small leather pouches.

Drinks will be provided to sip on while viewing the demonstrations. Enjoy a drink while shopping handcrafted goods, local products and creative works of art.  This event is free to the public and is family-friendly. A cash bar will also be present.

Market Bleu will be held at the Contemporary Arts Center at 44 E. Sixth St. in downtown Cincinnati from 6-10 p.m. on Saturday, July 29. To learn more about Market Bleu, visit marketbleu.com.
